HANDY MAN APP
Problem
For all types of income earners
Who are in need of a service or product which helps them to buy or rent houses at ease.
Solution
HandyMan is a mobile based app
That partners with Artisans such as tailors, carpenters, bakers etc and various service providers allowing
individuals to request services and products from the comfort of their own.
My Product is unique because it has a wide range of services and artisans to choose from. Users are able to go through the profiles of various artisans and make a pick based on reviews or past services/products which the artisan has displayed.
Goal
We’ll know this is true when we have over 1,000 users each day and when we’ve become the most sought after app for providing services to users and customers to service providers.
Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap
The product vision for Handy Man would be:
‘The biggest online platform for connecting users to various fast and efficient services and artisans.
The product strategy for this case study would be:
-Where are we now?
We are at the market introduction stage of our product. We are building an MVP that will take care of the identified needs of our target market to be able to request services of various kinds from artisans based on their selected location. There is also a PayNow feature in the profile of each artisan, which provides users with various payment options. Our current objective is to acquire 7,000 users every quarter.
-Where are we going?
HandyMan intends to be the biggest online platform for service providers and service recipients. We plan to provide marketing advertisement for 10% of our artisans especially those with good ratings. Our platform would be accessible on different devices and platforms. We would have collaborated with a notable amount of service providers all around the country.
-How can we get there?
I intend to build an agile team that would build products that adapt to market conditions and the ever-evolving customer behaviour. User feedback would be paramount as it ensures that we are on the right track while providing value to the users. Our growth plans would be reviewed on a monthly basis.
